Little Angel Theatre welcomes back one of its favourite shows. Adapted from Roald Dahl's well-known book by Sarah Woods, FANTASTIC MR. FOX is directed by Steve Tiplady, designed by Peter O'Rourke and has music and lyrics by Ben Glasstone. The show is suitable for age 4 and up.

The partnership between designer Peter and music director Ben has already distinguished itself in past productions of THE MOUSE QUEEN and GIRAFFE, PELLY AND ME and will extend to the Little Angel Christmas production of ALICE IN WONDERLAND.

FANTASTIC MR. FOX runs from 11 September to 7 November with its press performance on 18 September at 2 pm.

Mr. Fox has three nasty enemies - Boggis, Bunce and Bean. These greedy farmers hate Mr. Fox so much that they will stop at nothing to get rid of him. They attempt to shoot, starve or dig him out of his hole, but clever Mr. Fox has a plan of his own.

Roald Dahl's classic tale of wit and determination is brought to life with ingenious puppets and enchanting music. Join Mr. Fox and his family underground as they battle to save themselves and the rest of the countryside from disaster.

Following its season at Little Angel, FANTASTIC MR. FOX tours to Stratford Circus, the Elgar Room at the Royal Albert Hall (a first for this venue) and spends Christmas at Jackson's Lane Theatre in Muswell Hill, North London.

Little Angel Theatre celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2011. After many years of providing distinguished puppet shows for children and their families, Little Angel has pioneered work for adult audiences alongside the work for children. The Suspense Festival in 2009, which won the London Fringe Report Award for Best Festival 2009, brought together many performances, lectures and showcases from companies around the world, taking place in seven venues. Another Festival is planned for the anniversary year, 2011.
