Michael Rosen and the "We're Going on a Bear Hunt" show
Poet and performer Michael Rosen returns to the Little Angel Theatre for another show for under-sevens. Full of word-play and hilarious action, Michael will have everyone joining in with poems, chants and songs including those great favourites: Boogy Woogy Buggy, Chocolate Cake, Little Rabbit Foo Foo and of course the legendary Bear Hunt.
Michael is a Patron of Little Angel Theatre and will be performing this show to raise funds for the theatre's Education work. Please note that this performance will be filmed. Michael's books will be on sale after each show. The show is half an hour in duration.
All tickets for this special event are by donation. Little Angel Theatre relies on the generous support of individuals, businesses and trusts to maintain our work. Your support will help us to keep our doors open and our puppets working.

Crafty Kids
26 September - 21st November (no class 31st October half term)
Crafty Kids is our extremely popular Saturday morning 8 week club for 2-5 year olds and their carers. Members begin the term by watching a performance of a performance of Cindermouse. The following 7 weeks are spent on 'crafty' activities, songs and games linked to the show including some simple puppet making. The children leave each session with something they have made themselves.
Cost: £90 per carer/child pair/£65 concession (includes seeing the show)
Saturday Puppet Club
26 September - 5th December (no class 31st October half term)
Age 5-10
SPC members see a performance of Cindermouse at Little Angel before undertaking a 9 week challenge to create their own puppets and develop a short play for performance. The term culminates in a grand finale for friends and family. SPC is split into to 2 age groups - 5 to 7's and 8 to 10's.

Professional Puppetry Taster sessions
A combination of: learning puppetry performance techniques used by professional puppeteers; the chance to work with some of The Little Angel Theatre's collection of puppets; puppet making and object animation that can take you anywhere! Fantastic preparation for our ‘Puppet Academy Theatre Company' starting after half term, or a stand alone introduction to puppetry!

This is an amazing opportunity to become part of our festivals as both audience members and a performing company. Term begins watching a performance of ‘To Have or Not to Have?' by Dutch company ‘Tam Tam Objektentheatre, an innovative show featuring puppetry and object animation. Inspired by this performance the Puppet Academy Company will work together to plan, design, make and rehearse a show that they will perform as part of our ‘Suspension' festival in March (2nd - 5th March, evening performances - precise performance date TBC).
