Olivier-winner LeAnne Jones will be starring in a new production of Jonathan Larson's tick, tick...BOOM! at the Union Theatre in Southwark starting May 19. Jones, who originated the role of Tracy Turnblad in the West End premiere of Hairspray, will play Susan.

The musical had its London premiere at the Menier Chocolate Factory in 2005, starring Neil Patrick Harris, and had its West End Premiere last year at the Duchess Theatre. Jones completes the three-person revival cast, joining Ashley Campbell and Adam Rhys-Davies.

Tick, Tick... Boom!, by Jonathan Larson, Pulitzer-prize winning creator of Rent, is a musical look at the courage it takes to follow your dreams. Set in 1990, the musical is Larson's autobiographical tale of a young composer on the brink of turning 30 and falling into oblivion. His girlfriend wants to get married and move out of the city (Tick,), his best friend is making big bucks on Madison Avenue (Tick...), yet Jon is still waiting tables and trying to write the great American musical (Boom!).

tick, tick...BOOM! will officially open on May 20 and will run through June 5. The Union Theatre in Southwark is located at 204 Union Street in London SE1 0LX, United Kingdom. For tickets, call the box office at 020 7261 9876. For more information, visit http://www.uniontheatre.freeserve.co.uk/.
