La Gateau Chocolat, Ursula Martinez Join La Soiree Line-up This December

Dust off your hankies and sharpen your sweet tooth, Ursula Martinez and Le Gateau Chocolat are back. Winning hearts - and gasps - for their outrageous London seasons with La Clique at the Hippodrome and The Roundhouse, these cult hit favourites of the cabaret circuit will join the La Soirée family in December at the sumptuous new South Bank Big Top.

LE GATEAU CHOCOLAT
Le Gateau Chocolat is an Opera-singing diva with a penchant for being wrapped in body-hugging lycra and a passion for laughter. This delicious confection is a killer baritone who delivers outrageous and moving renditions of pop, jazz and musical theatre. Le Gateau Chocolat has performed at many prestigious venues including The Royal Opera House and Copenhagen Opera House. Featuring previously unseen material just for La Soirée lovers, Le Gateau Chocolat has a warmth that will see the whole world addicted to chocolate. He joins La Soirée on December 9th.

URSULA MARTINEZ
Hailing from Spain via Croydon, Ursula Martinez is a renowned writer, actress and cabaret performer. Her cult striptease act with its mischievous disappearing hanky is a jaw-dropping sensation. From high brow to low brow and from live art to loquacious party tricks, Martinez treads where few performers dare to go, with the audience right there along for the ride. Expect to emerge from her act with a rudimentary knowledge of bawdy Spanish and a surprising awareness of anatomy.
