Harry Blake and Alice Keedwell Present HOUSE OF BLAKEWELL at King's Head Theatre, Aug 26-Sept 2

Prize-winning songwriter. Harry Blake, and the frighteningly tonsilled. Alice Keedwell present HOUSE OF BLAKEWELL, a riotous evening of outrageously topical, eighty-three percent original songs. Expect razor sharp lyrics, cracking tunes and a line-up of very special guests.

Performances run at 7:15 pm on Sunday August 26th , Monday, August 27th, and Sunday, September 2nd at the King's Head Theatre, 115 Upper Street, Islington N1 1QN.

Harry Blake was winner the of the Craig Barbour Award for Composition 2012 (Michael Peavoy Productions at Soho Theatre). Composition credits include: Twelfth Night and Masters are you Mad? (Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre), Perle (Dancing Brick at Assembly Roxy), Rhinegold (liveartshow at The Yard), MANGA SISTER (liveartshow at The Yard), live electronic score Don Giovanni (OperaUpClose at Soho Theatre), Anna Karenina (Arcola), The Nightingale (Young Vic), A Karaoke Wedding (Union Theatre). Other credits include assistant conductor Tobias and the Angel (Young Vic), assistant to the music supervisor Marguerite (Theatre Royal Haymarket).

Alice Keedwell’s recent credits include; La Boheme (OperaUpClose at Soho Theatre), Soloist in the London Show Choir for Our Lady J – Gospel for the Godless (Soho Theatre), Soloist at West End Live, Rapunzel (clarinet) Into the Woods (Upstairs at the Gatehouse), Bernadette in A Karaoke Wedding at the Union Theatre. Her TV credits include Theatre Producer in Anonymous for Tiger Aspect and Box Office Assistant for The Thorntons Paramount Comedy short cuts.
