ILLIAN dFollowing on from two highly successful concerts in July 2011 and February 2012, Giggin4Good will return to the Actors’ Church, Covent Garden, on Sunday October 7 for another evening of West End musical theatre and pop music songs featuring a stellar cast who will perform in aid of Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital (with the funds being donated to the Neurology department which treats children with complex brain conditions).

Giggin4Good, the brain-child of three children’s nannies (Emma Howe, Karen Howe and Hayley Guild), came into creation around two years ago in their car on the way home from a gig! To quote the young ladies themselves: “As a group of three nannies, caring for children is a priority and when one of our charges was rushed to GOSH with a respiratory infection needing urgent care, we witnessed the crucial work that the hospital does in aiding children back to health. We all wanted to give something back to this magical place and as keen theatre-goers who have formed relationships with performers, it made sense to join forces and produce Giggin4Good!”

As with the previous two concerts, the Autumn Giggin4Good show will feature a number of West End star performers, including Alexia Khadime (Les Miserables, Wicked, The Lion King), Victoria Hamilton-Barritt (Gypsy, Flashdance, Grease), Killian Donnelly (The Phantom Of The Opera, Les Miserables), Kit Orton (Spamalot) and Dianne Pilkington (Wicked).  And for the first time Giggin4Good will feature a musical theatre star from across the Atlantic - Sarah Galbraith, whose credits include The Phantom Of The Opera (on Broadway, in Las Vegas and on tour) and the role of Ariel in the US tour of The Little Mermaid.

The February Giggin4Good showcased the brand new epic musical My Land’s Shore (by Christopher J. Orton & RoBert Gould) to great popular acclaim. The October concert will showcase songs from another new Orton & Gould musical, Based On A True Story, as well as a new song from My Land's Shore which is not included on the show’s critically acclaimed Studio Cast Album. There will also be new music from two of the UK’s most talented young songwriters - Joe Sterling and Chris Passey - both of whom were featured in SimG Productions’ showcase of songs by new musical theatre composers on The Battersea Barge in March 2012.

The full cast for the concert in aid of a highly deserving cause is:

Sabrina Aloueche,  Matthew Barrow, Emily Booth, David Brewis, Rosie Clarkson, Lucyelle Cliffe, Joseph Connor, Matthew Croke, Killian Donnelly, Jonathan Eio, Sarah Galbraith, Victoria Hamilton-Barritt, Alexia Khadime, Carolyn Maitland, Laura Mansell, Shaun McCourt, Twinnie Lee Moore, Kira Morsley, Ceili O'Connor, Rosa O’Reilly, Kit Orton, Chris Passey, Dianne Pilkington, Joe Sterling, George Ure, Benjamin Vivian-Jones, Ziggie Sky Ward.
