Donmar Warehouse Announces Full Casting For TRELAWNY OF THE WELLS

Donmar Warehouse announces full casting for their production of TRELAWNY OF THE WELLS by Arthur Wing Pinero, which runs from 15 February to 13 April 2013. Press night is Tuesday 26 February 2013.

Rose Trelawny is the brightest star in the firmament of the Wells, the theatre company that raised her from birth. But she's prepared to give it all up for the love of her stage-door suitor, aristocratic Arthur. His family are less convinced of her charms, however, and her joyful challenge to their dreary, snobby existence shocks them to their core.

TRELAWNY OF THE WELLS is Pinero's love letter to the theatre. Joe Wright is an exciting and visual film director. This production is a celebration of the enchantment, the vivaciousness, the melodrama, the music and the irrepressible joy of the Victorian stage.

TRELAWNY OF THE WELLS features Director: Joe Wright, Designer: Hildegard Bechtler, Lighting Designer: Jon Clark, Sound Designer: Matt McKenzie, Composer: Michael Bruce, and Movement Director: Marcello Magni.

The cast for the production has now been announced and will be:

Jamie Beamish - Mr. Ablett/O'Dwyer
Ron Cook - Sir William Gower
Aimeé-Ffion Edwards - Avonia Bunn
Susannah Fielding - Imogen Parrott
Daniel Kaluuya - Tom Wrench
Daniel Mays - Ferdinand Gadd
Fergal McElherron - Colpoys
Amy Morgan - Rose Trelawny
Joshua Silver - Arthur Gower
Maggie Steed - Mrs. Telfer/Miss Gower
Peter Wight - Mr. Telfer/Charles

All other parts are played by members of the company

He has worked extensively throughout the West End, at the RSC, The National Theatre, Chichester Festival Theatre, the Royal Court and many other theatres. He is also a hugely popular and prolific film and television performer.
