BroadwayWorld.com, the largest theatre site on the net, which recently expanded coverage to over 100 theatrical markets worldwide, has announced the appointment of UK journalist Carrie Dunn as the site's new West End editor-in-chief. Under the new leadership of Dunn, BroadwayWorld.com's West End coverage will expand dramatically as she assembles a team of top-notch professional writers, photographers, videographers and more to bring the site up to par with its Broadway counterpart.

"The site's coverage will be expanding greatly," said Dunn "bringing coverage of all the great theatre that the UK has to offer from the West End to regional productions to a local, national and international audience. I genuinely believe this is a fantastic time for British theatre and I'm so excited to be able to tell the world about it!"

"I couldn't be more thrilled to welcome Carrie Dunn on board," said Robert Diamond, BroadwayWorld.com's CEO. "She shares the site's vision for editorial integrity, quality and growth and I can't wait to see where she's able to take it."

Additional announcements will be coming shortly for new BroadwayWorld.com International coverage and features.

After spending her formative years reading books and graduating from King's College London with a Masters degree in English literature, Carrie Dunn became a freelance journalist in 2005. Since then, her pure and simple delight in the art-form of musical theatre has led to the Guardian inviting her to be their West End Girl, writing weekly about the wonderful world of musical theatre. She's also written for many other UK publications including the Times and the Independent, and appears regularly on television and in other mediums as a recognized expert in the world of theatre.
