Boy George is back doing what he loves best - singing live... stripped down, acoustic, unplugged. From Sunday December 20 - Wednesday December 30, "Boy George in Concert Up Close and Personal" will play for 10 nights at the 400-seat Leicester Square Theatre, the venue in which he first launched his West End and Tony-nominated Broadway musical, "Taboo."

In "Boy George in Concert Up Close and Personal," George will perform a set of exclusive, intimate shows ahead of his 2010 European tour. It features his biggest hits from Culture Club, his solo career, new writing and some great covers.

Boy George first shot to international stardom in the 1980's as the front man of one of the UK's biggest exports - Culture Club. He has sold over 50 million albums and has had top 10 hits in every country. As a singer, actor, DJ, artist, photographer and fashion designer, he has constantly reinvented himself and remains today one of the world's most recognisable iconic figures.

George returned to performing live in 2008 after a 10-year absence - and wowed audiences and critics throughout the UK.

The concert will be held at the Leicester Square Theatre from Sunday December 20 - Wednesday December 30. The performance schedule is Monday - Saturday at 9.30pm and Sunday at 7.30pm. Tickets range from £35.00 - £45.00. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit www.leicestersquaretheatre.com or call the box office at 0844 847 24 75.
