Hi Lucy, thanks for joining us. How did you get involved with Snappy Title?

The lovely Katy and Peter Auker contacted me about the first Snappy Title last September, where I sang 'Blue' by Cathy Shostak, and 'If I Stay Here' by Joe Robinson. I was asked to take part in the second Snappy Title, 'From the Heart', and I'm thrilled to be one of the Snappy Title veterans doing the third, 'Dream a little Dream'! It's such a joy to be asked and take part in something so enjoyable with such brilliant causes.

What's the best thing about working on a production like this?

Just hearing all the different composers music, and meeting and working with such lovely, talented people. The creative team of Snappy Title are really fantastic, and the whole process runs so smoothly that it's really just like having a sing with your mates! I've also made some lovely friends who I probably wouldn't have met if it weren't for Snappy Title. But really, it's such a good feeling knowing that this new work is finally getting out there, and being able to support such worthy charities at the same time is also really great.

What do you think your highlight of Sunday will be?

The fantastic thing about Snappy Title is you never know until the day of the performance!! It's always so exciting listening to everyone's songs, and as Jeremy said, there will always be one or two that suit you or an audition perfectly, and you think 'I definitely want a copy of that sheet music afterwards!". I personally can't wait to hear the ensemble, which is made up of recent graduates. I know the addition of an ensemble will work fantastically with this type of show, and I've heard their rehearsals are sounding fantastic! It will be so lovely to see everyone again, it's such a positive and enjoyable environment and now I just can't wait to get there for a Snappy Sunday!

Snappy Title 3: Dream A Little Dream is at the Cochrane Theatre this Sunday September 19th.
