The winners of the 2011 BWW:UK Awards are thrilled with their recognition by the theatre-going public! Here are some more thank yous from the winners...
Colin Ingram, producer of Ghost, says: "We are delighted to have won four Broadwayworld.com awards for GHOST - THE MUSICAL and would like to thank everyone who voted for us. The team are really looking forward to bringing the show to Broadway in March next year and playing where the story is set. We also are excited about our new leads in London, Mark [Mark Evans] and Siobhan [Siobhan Dillon], who take over from Richard [Richard Fleeshman] and Caissie [Caissie Levy] who are Broadway bound to play Sam and Molly."
Scott Garnham, who picked up the inaugural Best Understudy prize, says: "I am delighted to have won 'Understudy of the Year' as It's the only award I know of that recognises understudies in the West End. I feel very privileged that theatregoers have enjoyed my performance enough to vote for me and truly honoured by their support."
