According to Andrew Lloyd Webber's official website, the composer is set to join the New Year's Eve festivities at London's Palladium Theatre.  Back in October, Webber announced plans to remodel the Palldium, which just celebrated it's 100th birthday.

The Palladium has a very rich history, being a popular variety venue until Lloyd Webber's musicAl Blockbusters took over. Recently,  Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Sound of Music and Sister Act have all played at the Palladium. Up next at the historic theatre is Lloyd Webber's The Wizard of Oz, which is set for a March 2011 opening.

At the New Year's Eve event, Webber will be joined by a slew of West End stars, including the new Wizard of Oz, Michael Crawford.  Guests will share their favorite stories about the historic theatre.

Tune in to BBC2 on December 31 at 9pm to watch the event.
