This year's Amused Moose Laugh Off and Amused Moose Laughter Award's introduces new talent to audiences during a series of showcases. Last year these included Sarah Millican, Andi Osho and Jack Whitehall.
All showcases have different line-ups so audiences are invited to come back time and again to enjoy the very best of this year's Fringe offerings. The comedians performing on each date will be announced on the Amused Moose website, facebook, twitter and at Pleasance box offices.
The showcases will take place at Pleasance Dome at 8:20PM on 3rd-4th, 8th-11th & 15th-17th of August. Tickets cost £5-£9.50 and can be purchased at www.pleasance.co.uk/edinburgh.

Featuring hilarious segments from the “Top Ten” shows entries to the Amused Moose Laughter Awards 2012, as selected from hundreds of entries by our esteemed industry judges, this is the public’s first chance to have their say to put their favourites through to the final. AmusedMoose Laughter Awards “Top Ten” Semi-final 2011 featured winner Tony Law, runners up Milo McCabe and Luke Wright as well as the critically acclaimed DeAnne Smith, Paul McCaffrey and The Beta Males.
The three winners today, go through to the Amused Moose Comedy Awards Grand Final on Sunday 19th.

The audience and industry judges too will not only choose the winners of the Amused Moose Laugh Off 2012 but the Amused Moose Laughter Award 2012 as well.
The Amused Moose Laugh Off 2012 finalists, chosen from over 730 entries, by industry and audiences through numerous qualifying rounds, heats and quarterfinals across the UK and Ireland are: Dane Baptiste, Toby Brown, Clint Edwards, Matthew Giffen, Funmbi, Foil Arms & Hog and Richard Todd.
The Amused Moose Laughter Award 2012 finalists will only be known at 5pm on Friday 17 August after segments from the Top Ten shows have been showcased, back to back, during the afternoon. The winner's prize at the Grand Final on Sunday 17 August includes £5000 and their show filmed at Soho Theatre in September at broadcast standard.
