Ambassador Theatre Group Announces New Senior Roles for Enright, Lynas

The Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG) today announces new senior roles for two of its Executive Directors, Helen Enright and Michael Lynas and two of its Senior Managers, Helen Brownlee and Vin Govender.

Helen Enright will become Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and will continue to lead the enlarged Finance, Information Technology and Human Resources teams. She will also continue to lead the Group's plans to migrate its 10 million tickets per annum to the AudienceView system. Helen will be based at ATG's Head Office in Woking.

Helen is a graduate Chartered Accountant with more than 20 years experience since qualifying with Ernst and Young in 1984. She has experience at strategic and operational levels, including acquisitions, IT systems development and a wide range of initiatives designed to improve organisational efficiency.

Michael Lynas will take on the role of Managing Director (Content) and will continue to lead the expanded Regional and London Programming departments, responsible for delivering high quality content across the Group and bringing an increased number of productions and performances to ATG's 39 venues. Michael will work from the Charing Cross Road office.

Michael has worked in the theatre industry for over 25 years since graduating from Oxford and has experience of programming, production and management. Prior to joining ATG in 1997 as Chief Executive of Milton Keynes Theatre, he was Director of Richmond Theatre and spent seven years at Chichester Festival Theatre. He is a Director of the Society of London Theatre and The Theatre Investment Fund.

Helen Brownlee will become Ticketing Director with particular responsibilities for the AudienceView project and enlarged sales teams. She will also support the newly appointed Managing Director (Ticketing) who joins ATG on 8 August in overseeing the Group's Sales and Ticketing Operation.

Helen joined ATG in 1998 as a Box Office Manager in Stoke-on-Trent before taking over responsibility for London ticketing, and then later, ticketing for ATG's entire UK operation.

Vin Govender is appointed to the role of Technology Director where his responsibilities will include the roll out of the AudienceView project and further development of the Group's technology strategy.

Vin is a graduate of Nottingham University and has over 12 years experience in the Arts and Entertainment industry. He joined ATG in 2000 when he managed the integration of the ACT theatres and has implemented several key systems across the Group.

This latest announcement follows previous appointments by ATG in March as part of the Group's continued expansion. The new roles commence with immediate effect.
